Frontier Airlines are celebrating a dozen new summer routes with an incredible sale. Starting this May, Frontier will be offering a new schedule of flights from Philadelphia to a variety of destinations, including Chicago-O’Hare, Columbus, Detroit, Indianapolis, Knoxville, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Pensacola, Pittsburgh, Portland, and St. Louis. While some of these routes are making a comeback for the summer season, others are new to the airline’s schedule.
To kick off the excitement, Frontier is rolling out a fare sale that you won’t want to miss. Tickets must be purchased by 11:59 p.m. ET on Friday, Feb. 9, and the fares are valid for nonstop travel from Monday through Thursday and Saturday until June 19.
Frontier’s CEO, Barry Biffle, expressed his enthusiasm for the expansion, stating, “From the Midwest to the East Coast and from Maine to Florida, these new routes span much of the country and represent our continued commitment to growth from PHL.” He added that Philadelphia will see the second-largest increase in daily departures on Frontier this summer among the airline’s major operational bases.
Some of the new routes will operate daily, providing seamless connectivity between Philadelphia and cities like Chicago and Detroit, while others will operate three times a week.
In total, Frontier will offer nearly 40 destinations from Philadelphia, marking a significant 47 percent increase compared to the previous year. This growth is expected to bring down overall fares from Philadelphia, which serves as one of American Airlines’ major hub airports.
