Delta Airlines is set to make traveling to the land down under a breeze with its latest announcement of a new route connecting Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to Brisbane Airport (BNE) in Australia. The carrier unveiled plans for this exciting venture, which is slated to start on December 4 and operate until March 28, 2025, offering travelers a convenient three-times-a-week service.
Operating on the state-of-the-art Airbus A350-900 aircraft, passengers can expect a comfortable journey with a flight duration of approximately 14 hours and 45 minutes. This new seasonal route reflects Delta’s commitment to expanding its network and enhancing the travel experience for its customers.
Joe Esposito, Delta’s Senior Vice President of Network Planning, expressed enthusiasm about the expansion, highlighting the significance of adding Brisbane to their roster of destinations in the South Pacific. With this new route, Delta now boasts a total of 17 weekly flights to and from Australia, reinforcing its presence in the region.
The flights will depart from LAX’s recently renovated Terminal 3, which features modern amenities including the newly minted Delta SkyClub, offering travelers a comfortable and convenient pre-flight experience.
